Offering YOUTH & ADULT programs.At South Shore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) our goal is to create an environment where students not only receive the highest level of instruction in current Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts strategy & technique, but they also grow as individuals. Students learn how to communicate with each other & share ideas that ultimately lead to personal growth. Instruction, practice & fun are important parts of all our youth classes at South Shore BJJ. The coaches use a combination of teaching techniques & games to keep kids focused & motivated. Jiu Jitsu is a great sport for children because it’s not dependent on size, strength or physical ability. With multiple classes offered each week, you can be comfortable knowing your child is learning a martial art that is not only fun as a sport, but also helping your child develop confidence, courage & self-control.Our adult programs offer a great way to get in shape while also having fun. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a very different kind of cardio than what you are used to from traditional exercise. You might be able to run 5 miles with no problems, but with grapple you’ll learn in your first minutes that the cardio is different, demanding & as a result people usually see excellent progress with impressive results in their first six months of training.
