Established in 1979.
A Touch of Wellness, owned and operated by a seasoned, internationally certified massage therapist and life coach, has evolved over many years of hands-on work with thousands of clients.
Founded originally in Toronto in 1979, it was then called Life Lines. Some years later, in 1994, A Touch of Wellness found a new home in the US Virgin Islands. It flourished there until 2011, when the owner moved to Tampa Bay, Florida, where it is now nestled in the heart of Pinellas County.
The multi-talented Brenda Armstrong is widely recognized for massage and bodywork, coaching, and creating natural personal-care products. Born in Scotland, she held corporate and government positions in the UK and Canada before pursuing a career in the natural healing arts in Toronto. From there, her adventurous spirit called her to:
* two years as a luxury charter yacht chef sailing the US Virgin Islands
* five years as manager of a world-class, multi-residential island property
* 18 years establishing A Touch of Wellness in St Thomas, VI
Brenda’s community service, teaching and presenting have earned acclaim and awards:
* Sutherland-Chan School of Massage in Toronto
* Cancer Center of St Thomas
* V.I. Dept of Health
* American Counsellors Assn
* National Assn of Social Workers
* Rotary Club of St Thomas East
In her limited spare time Brenda enjoys the performing arts and most forms of music. Salsa dancing is high on the list, and surprisingly she loves a good Harley ride.
