I went to Atlanta School of Massage for Sports Massage. I traveled with U.S. Women’s Rowing Team for two years and also traveled with bike teams for a week at a time while they did their Century Rides (100 miles a day). I learned a lot about the body and injuries and how to help but now I mostly do deep tissue or relaxation massage.
I am the owner/operator of this massage establishment. I’ve enjoyed helping people get back their mobility and feeling better. I offer suggestions that could help at home. One of the main suggestions would be to invest in the book ‘Pain Free’ by Pete Egoscue. Read the section that applies to your condition. Another would be to do some yoga just because the flows of the body open up with these movements so it can heal. Tara Stiles on Youtube ‘Beginner Flexibility’ is an excellent start. Do it twice and you’ll be amazed how much better your body feels. It’s only 9 minutes per session, 18 minutes total if you will do it twice.
